Who We Are

Where compassion becomes action

Ti-Ratana Community Centre was established in 2017 under the inspiration of Most Ven. Datuk K. Sri Dhammaratana Nayaka Maha Thera, the Buddhist Chief High Priest of Malaysia, whose lifelong work has lifted thousands out of hardship.

  • Compassion (Karuṇā) — We meet suffering with kindness and act to relieve it, near and far.
  • Generosity (Dāna) — Our programmes are gifts — freely given, with no one turned away.
  • Wisdom (Paññā) — We empower through learning, mindfulness and honest reflection.
  • Community (Sangha) — We grow stronger together — across faiths, ages and backgrounds.

Voices of Our Community

Lives touched, hearts lit

My daughter could not afford extra classes. Ti-Ratana welcomed her with open arms — today she dreams of becoming a teacher. I will be forever grateful.
Nimali Perera Parent, Kottawa
I learned tailoring here and now run my own small shop. The centre did not just teach me a skill — it gave me back my dignity.
Sunil Fernando Vocational graduate
After losing my husband, the meditation sessions became my anchor. I found peace I did not think was possible. Thank you, Ti-Ratana.
Anoma Jayasuriya Meditation participant
Volunteering on the food drives changed how I see the world. Giving a little of my time gives back so much more than I imagined.
